Paver Sealing & Resealing

Bring the Color Back and Keep It That Way

Sealer is the difference between a patio that still looks rich after ten years and one that looks washed out after four. It slows UV fade, keeps stains on the surface where they can be cleaned off, locks joint sand in place, and makes routine washing dramatically easier.

Sealing is also easy to do badly. Too much product and you get a hazy, plastic-looking film. The wrong product and you trap moisture. Sealing over dirt or damp pavers and you lock the problem in permanently. We clean first, replace joint sand, let everything dry properly, then apply the correct sealer at the correct coverage rate.

Done in the Right Order

Clean, Sand, Dry, Then Seal

Sealer does not hide problems, it preserves whatever condition the surface is in when you apply it.

Full Clean First

Organic growth, efflorescence, and stains removed before any sealer touches the surface.

Joint Sand Replaced

Polymeric sand installed and set so the sealer stabilizes solid joints, not empty ones.

Proper Dry Time

We wait for the pavers and joints to fully dry so moisture is not sealed in.

Correct Product and Coverage

Matte, satin, or wet-look sealer applied at manufacturer coverage rates for an even finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every three to five years for most patios and walkways. Full-sun surfaces, driveways, and poolside areas typically need it closer to every three.

Modern sealers are formulated to minimize this, and we can add a fine anti-slip additive for steps, pool surrounds, and any area that stays wet. Matte finishes are the least slick option.

Yes, though we generally wait until efflorescence has run its course, which usually means waiting through the first season. Sealing too early can lock a white haze under the surface.

We can usually correct it. Depending on the product, that means stripping the old sealer, deep cleaning, and starting over with a properly applied coat.

Typically light foot traffic the same day or next day, and furniture back after a couple of days. Driveways need longer before vehicles return. We give you exact times based on the product and weather.
