This Barrington property got the full treatment - beds redefined, shrubs trimmed back into shape, fresh mulch laid throughout, and weeds cleared out completely. When a landscape has a lot going on across a large property, the details either hold it together or let it fall apart. We made sure every detail held.
We started by getting the beds back under control. Crisp edges were cut along the paver borders and lawn lines, giving each planting area a clear boundary. From there, the shrubs along the front and sides of the house were pruned back into clean, structured shapes. Nothing wild, nothing uneven - just tight and intentional.
Fresh dark mulch went down across every bed on the property. Around the foundation plantings, along the curved driveway beds, inside the raised stone tree ring out back, and around the standalone trees in the front lawn. That contrast between dark mulch and green grass makes everything read sharper from the street. It also helps retain moisture and keeps weeds from pushing back through.
The lawn itself got mowed with clean, even stripe lines across the full width of the front yard. Combined with the freshened beds and trimmed shrubs, the whole property just looked dialed in - nothing out of place. Even a hidden duck nest tucked into one of the beds made an appearance during the job, which was a first for us. We worked around it carefully and left it untouched.
Properties like this one are a good example of what consistent, detail-focused maintenance actually looks like. It's not one big dramatic change - it's every part of the landscape being handled properly at the same time. That's what makes the difference.
